FedEx has announced local operational changes that may cause delays in FedEx Express deliveries and shipments beginning in September and potentially extending into the fall. At this time, there are many unknowns, and FedEx has provided limited communication regarding this impact to ISU.
The delays are related to FedEx’s consolidation of FedEx Express with its FedEx Ground operations, similar to the model used by other carriers.
Central Receiving and Postal & Parcel Services will continue doing their best to ensure your packages are delivered and shipped promptly. However, you may wish to consider using other carrier(s) to help minimize potential disruptions.
